Course Description:
This course aims to develop an advanced level of academic communication to finalize research projects using appropriate research methods. Students analyze and synthesize their research findings to orally present and to write academic papers using APA style. This course is a companion course for WLC 400 (Major Capstone). Taught in Japanese.
Reflective Narrative:
This class was an accompanying class to our Capstone class, intending to help supply the capstone students with the tools needed to complete our capstone projects. We learned about how to write a Japanese academic paper, the different types of grammar necessary for the difference between written and spoken words, and how to read and speak about graphs. This was essential due to the fact that we would have to change our scripts, which were written in spoken word form, into our thesis papers.
