4.1
In JAPN403, we learned a great deal about how to research and use it for our Capstone. We went to the library and were tutored by one of the librarians on how to use the research tools available there. Once we were comfortable, we were able to use the library resources to research for our projects. We made the use of websites like Zotero in order to help us brainstorm and organize our thoughts. We also learned how to create a survey using the online google forms, and example of which is linked Here in Japanese.

In JAPN404, we learned about how to write our thesis paper, making use of the all of the research and writing that we had done already. We also learned about the differences in writing in Japanese compared to speaking in Japanese, as well as the appropriate langue to use in this type of scholarly writing. Here is a copy of the results of my hard work, my thesis paper in Japanese. In my JAPN404 we learned about the appropriate types of technology to us. In this class we used google forms, used excel to analyze our data make graphs based on it, and used google slides to coordinate between me and my Captsone partner. An example of this is our Capstone Presentation which can be viewed here in English and here in Japanese.

For our Capstone class, WLC400, we took everything that we had learned in all of our previous classes, from the research at the beginning to learning how to write a thesis, and utilized it for the completion of our Capstone Project. We used different forms of technology in order to achieve this. We made and sent out surveys, analyzed the results, and were able to formulate a conclusion form the information that we received. After all of our hard work, we were able to complete our Capstone Presentation, which is linked here in English and here in Japanese.
For this class we utilized and collected data with google forms, analyzed it by collating the data, and made graphics and charts from what we received. Afterwards we interpreted the findings which we put into a powerpoint, showing the graphics and charts that we analyzed, and copy of which in English is here and in Japanese here.
